Handmade Art Light Boxes Are Back!

I’m excited to announce that after being unavailable for a couple years, I’ve started to build more of my custom art light boxes.

This new batch of only two, features my painting I Am the Universe, one of my favorite paintings from 2016. This soothing “Spirit Bear” brings a nice peaceful ambience to a space.

In addition to being decorative, these functional art pieces make great nightlights too. Hang one in the hallway, in the kids room or bathroom. They cast enough light to gently lite a room in a soft glow but are not too overpowering either.

I build each one of these from scratch. The moulding is made from raw poplar sticks, cut down to size and then sanded and finished with black enamel paint. The inner lights are a single strip of cool-colored LEDs. LEDs don’t consume a lot of energy and are very safe to leave on for long stretches.

They come with a 12v power supply with a toggle switch to turn the light off/on.
They sit nicely on a table top but also come ready to hang on the wall.
